Arduino Uno + IR servo shield = Tony Robot
Don’t be distracted by this cute little robot called Tony Robot because you don’t know what he is capable of doing!
Created by Kota Yamada, this humanoid robot is nothing else than 42 cm tall and 2kg heavy. Beside his cute appearance and wooden structure he is equipped with two flamethrower arms who can be activated by a remote control constructed with an Arduino Uno and IR servo shield. All the various features of Tony Robot are displayed in 3 different short videos on youtube with some jazzy background music and the maker even used it for cooking.
What is for sure, is that he might not be the most efficient robot to prepare your pancakes, but he is certainly the most talented one to heat them up!
