CES 2017: partnerships, IoT demos, new hardware

2017 is a year of the 50th anniversary of CES. We were pleased to be a part of this great show.
During the event, we invited our partners to the suite at Aria hotel to chat with our team and ecosystem for ideas. We were showcasing results of new partnerships, cool IoT demos that utilize many technologies, and new Arduino hardware including Primo and Otto. It takes a Village: partners, makers, technology, services, cloud, mobility, etc.

We are thrilled to be a part of this movement at this exciting time. We were happy to be at CES this year with myDevices, Semtech, Microchip, QNAP, just to name a few.

The highlight of CES included a presentation at TechCrunch’s stage. Federico Musto, CEO, and Kathy Giori, VP, presented new products and Arduino + myDevices demo.
The CEO emphasized that Arduino is growing faster than ever because of the IoT. We are seeing thousands of IoT projects and prototypes. But, we are also finding out that these prototypes are being made into products, and our customers are finding it easy, valuable, and affordable to keep Arduino in the finished products as they grow their businesses and ship products.  Today Arduino is becoming not only the ultimate “maker” hardware, but a tool that can be used by IoT developers. Arduino in partnership with Semtech and myDevices is enabling these "makers" to use wireless, low-power, low-cost Arduino sensors and gateways to create full blown IOT solutions for home automation, smart buildings, smart agriculture and an endless possibility of industrial IOT solutions. Ultimately giving people the power to move from an idea, to prototype to finished IoT solution with ease. The future of IOT is about low power, low cost, wide area, and Arduino is pushing the masses forward.
