unsigned char

Description

The unsigned char type stores characters in the ASCII format. 
You can initialize it inserting the char with single quotes or through the corrispodent number ASCII value. 
Each unsigned char occupies one byte (8bits). 
An unsigned char encodes numbers from 0 to 255.

Syntax

unsigned char var
unsigned char var = value

Parameters

  • var: variable name
  • value: any character or equivalent ASCII number

Application

Examples

unsigned char CharC= 'C';
unsigned char CharC= 67; //are equivalent
